Well, he'd certainly looked like he can play above the rim on that error.

I called this Manaea's best game of the season, but I suspect it's all Mets starters' best game of the season.

If they are chasing Diaz' slider out of the strike zone, I'm happy.

Of course, if he's got to get to 3-and-2 before they do that, I'm not that happy.

I'd feel a lot better about this inning if Diaz wasn't starting it following nine high-leverage pitches and an up/down.

I think I originally stated, at the beginning of this year, the Mets would go 92-70. I'm slowly reverting back to that prediction.

I'd like to see the science behind whatever the alleged effect of up/downs (which are really down/ups) are.
