Exactly.
When they're down (by that many), their first strike should be a called strike*.
Yet at least two of the Mets batters (according to my pitch by pitch report)swung at the first one, even though they were ahead on the count.

I was really kind of hoping they turned it around with the big win yesterday. Deflated.

I had fancy seats with free food and drink so I tried to act classy for my host despite the circumstances. It was hard to get too upset when I went in expecting Peterson to stink and then he stunk. Buck keeps playing for tomorrow and tomorrow by resting starters and relievers and now the Mets are in 4th place.
