Wow, there's a win that feels like a loss.

Ten runs scored in the 10th.
Even with the clown car rules that's ridonculous.

This bullpen isn't bad if you spot them six runs.

It’s not all Mendoza. Obviously. But pulled Peterson too early. Left Jay in too long.

Jay's problem is those little letters on the back of the jersey look even tinier on 3 letter names, and cannot possibly uplift the 74 beneath them

What a humdinger of an experience! The Mets don't look like a playoff team.

Definitely not with the bullpen they currently have.
I know every team goes through injury issues, particularly when it comes to pitchers, but the Mets bullpen has been decimated. Calls to the bullpen would not be quite as terrifying if the Mets still had, Brooks Raley, Sean Reid-Foley, and Drew Smith available. Now with Edwin Diaz serving out a suspension, there is not much reliable depth to call on. I am afraid that the Mets will burn out the few reasonable options left in the pen due to overuse. It would help if the starting pitchers could go at least 6 innings on a regular basis.
Time for our President of Baseball Operations to bring in some reinforcement that are capable of actually getting ML hitters out.
