Francisco Lindor making a really solid bid to wrap up May's Bench Player of the Month early.

Oh, good, the guy has the flu, so let's soak him in ice water.

Maybe. Big win anyway. Losing 3 of 4 at home to the Cubs would have put me in a bad mood for a week or two

This is the real way to congratulate a guy on a walkoff.

Just finished watching (well, at least part of it*) and that game was ... something?

* So I'm watching via delay when suddenly (around top 4) my stream loses a connection and before reappearing a few minutes later ... in the 7th inning!!!!
I went from down 1-0 to a 5-5 tie and missed everything in between. I backed up about 20 minutes, enough to see the Mets make it 5-5 from 4-5 but
didn't want to see the three innings I missed having already known the result (watching them go down 4-0 would have REALLY put me in a bad mood).
So I essentially just saw from the 8th inning on although that turned out to take well over an hour.
I have to now go back and reconstruct the nine runs that I missed.
That's never happened to me before on the stream but I know the fault wasn't at my end.

Great win though:
- Marte with two great throws
- Baty - multiple nice defensive plays
- Narvaez - two great tags
- Lindor - four RBIs in a game he didn't start
- Nimmo tying hit
- Bader winning run
- Diaz two innings
... and that's just the parts I saw
We're gonna need a big delivery from the folks at Schaefer

Load is a little lighter when you don’t need beer for the starting pitcher.

Lindor seemed to be distributing Schaefer points in his post-game comments, and he managed to save a few for Haouser.

Very good win for the team. The Bullpen continues to carry a heavy workload. Lindor rewarding the Mets faithful after his horrendous start. Tough series for runners trying to score on throws from the outfield. At least today, the good guys won.

With so much more at stake

I also completely ignored this game and watched it during/after dinner. Quite enjoyable. Solid win
