Looks foggy at field level as Nimmo leadz off.

So far we are doing all we can to defeat ourselves.

You get a hit when McNoid intentionally kicks the ball, for some reason?

Alvarez gets hurt and the Mets turn for the worse, apparently.

Wilmer's time with SFG is creeping up on the time he spent on the Mets [492 G/1,769 PA vs 581 G/2,011 PA]
And while his BA is around the same for both he's increased his power as a Giant despite it not being a power
park, and his walk rate, the thing that held him down early in his career, is now right around MLB norms.
Isolated Walk rate NYM = .041; w/SFG = .074
Iso Power NYM = .162; Iso Power SFG = .192
The combo of those two is what raised his OPS+ from 99 as a Met to 114 as a Giant
It also occurs to me that we first heard of Wilmer when he signed with the Mets at age 16 which means we've been
following him, to one extent or another, for more than half the life of the still just 32 y/o (33 in August)

Nice to get two runs wiped off the board.

I wouldn't conclude that.

Nice to get two runs wiped off the board.
And they're back.

That ball went, in my mind, from HR to 2R 2B to strike one in a very short time.
And the two runs score anyway.

The walks are infuriating

Two runs on a walk, a kick save attempt, a bloop, and an infield grounder.
Conforto's parachute was the deepest fair ball of the inning.

This isn't going well. And I watched the islanders tonight.

Jung Hoo Lee wears Ichiro's digits well.

2-0, 3-1 on every hitter. Against a shit Giants lineup.

The Mets decided not to sign Conforto?
I thought I remembered him turning down a QO.

Just keep walking them Quintana. Great strategy.

They're on the board, at least.

The difference between the pitchers is jarring. One attacking hitters. The other constantly behind.

Things have been kinda ill since Nimmo uncharacteristically swung at the first pitch of the game last night.
Has this been two straight nights without a single walk?

And there's Lindor taking a walk on four pitches.
The worm turns!
