This may be the first time Lindor has faced the team that traded him to the Mets three years ago.

It isn't, as teams face everybody every year now. Last season he played three games against Cleveland and went 5-for-14 with a double and a homer.

It is his first return to Cleveland, however. The Mets haven't played there since 2016. And note how the Indians (as they had been known) didn't come to Queens at all between 2004 and 2019.
