We probably can't count on strafing Cole for 6 runs over 4 innings like we did last time ... but anything that completes a season sweep against these chumps would be oh so nice.

Also now just 2.5 G behind the Braves (who have a DH today vs Reds following last night's rainout) for the #1 WC slot on the eve of them coming in for a four game series starting tomorrow. So snagging a W today would be good for reasons in addition to stomping on chumps and sending their fans home crying ... even if that remains today's #1 priority.

My favorite aspect of NYM/NYY subway series games is watching dejected Yankee fans in the stands when their team is losing. That shit is like catnip to me

That certainly is #1 on that schadenfreude list.
My #2 is watching close-ups of owner Jerry Jones in the closing minutes of a Dallas Cowboys loss.

Tough to miss that one as Jerry is on TV more than most of the players on the field.

I am so loving this line. Schadenfreude on the Dallas Cowboys to the max, here.

Aaron Judge - CF
Austin Wells - C (11 career HRs)
Anthony Volpe - SS
Alex Verdugo - LF
JD Davis - DH
DJ LeMahieu - 1B (.183)
Oswaldo Cabrera - 3B

Opt for defense when facing Cole, perhaps?

Well, that's certainly a distinction, but if it were that alone, they'd go with Bader.

It looks like this game is only on ESPN which benefits our out of market fans

I hope Michael Kay doesn't turn up somehow on this telecast

I'm enjoying listening to the Yanqui people on talk radio of late

Surprised Bader isn't getting the start considering how well he knows CF in The Bedpan.

I hope he got his shots. Those MFY fans can be rabid.
