A little hitting would be nice.
Take away the Game 2 HR barrage and they've notched a total of three runs on 7 hits across 19 innings in Games 1 & 3

Jesse Winker appears to be on the roster, if not in the lineup.

Win this series Mets
It is not a time to backslide and be 1 1/2 behind the Braves

Yes, this would be a most disappointing split if we lose today.

Seeing Winker in #3 feels a little weird. I certainly don't think it should be retired, but explicitly putting a number on a memorial patch sort of makes it feel like it's otherwise out of circulation.
Of course, we've had Taylor in 15 while it's part of the Grote memorial patch.

It is creepy, would there be any harm in waiting on those numbers for a short while

Leadoff hits in three straight innings. Gotta plate somebody sometime.

It's so long between Gamel starts that you can see the growth in his beard from appearance to appearance.

Mets still jumping on first pitches, especially with ducks on the pond, but it's not availing them.

Well, that's what Matt Olson does with a fat pitch.

Opponents seem to know how to score their leadoff baserunners.

Man, Peterson had the Braves' number for the first three innings.
He's been totally at sea this frame, though.

Peterson has thrown more pitches to get One out this inning than he needed to get the first nine out in innings 1 thru 3

Already 0-for-8 w/RiSP.
That's a lot of gagging for just four innings.

Three leadoff doubles in five innings ... none of them scored.

With some help from the Sarbaugh Follies.

Well, with the statistical probability of NYM scoring runners from 3rd w/no outs hovering somewhere in the 1.3 and 2.1% range, sending him was probably the logical move.
