I’m running over and watering a few greenhouses then I’m off the rest of the day!

My wife and I picked up our daughter and went for a picnic and short hike (1.3 miles) through the woods at a state park. It was a nice relaxing day.
When did the choices get so hard
With so much more at stake
Life gets mighty precious
When there's less of it to waste

We had a nice visit to the New York Botanical Garden before heading back home.

Baby back ribs on the Weber, some grilled zucchini and corn. I'm labored out.

My day had been built around the Mets game, so now it's all mucked up.

Happiness to all that labor!

Went and saw an off-off-off Broadway play in the city that a friend of ours was starring in; it was quite good and well worth the trip.

When we told Lefty Jr where we were going, he said, "So how far Off-Broadway are we talking? Like Joey Tribbiani Off-Broadway?"

We lol'd.
Even duct tape can't fix stupid. But it can sure muffle the sound.

My current favorite labor song.

A Shaolin monk does not sell himself for a handful of rice.
