The Tux Thread
Re: The Tux Thread
I owned a tux. I can't imagine where it is, because I fatted out of it some time ago.

Option C: I own a black suit that is tux-like when I wear i it with a tux shirt and bow tie.

I do not own a tux.
I am interested to know why you wonder.

KC’s been invited to a prom!
Re: The Tux Thread
I own a black one, bought for my daughter's wedding.
I still have the shirt, cummerbund and bow tie, as well as dress patent leather shoes to go with it.
I've worn it to several parties (and a cruise)since then and it still fits, joining Sean Connery and Cary Grant as men who look really good in a tuxedo.

I do not, and even my suit probably borderline unfittable. I'm determined to wear it as little as possible, and I'm hoping to NEVER wear a tux again if I can help it. or a tie.

I've worn a tux once in my life and it was rented. I had hoped to have "Never Wore A Tux" on my gravestone.

Never owned one myself.
The good thing about buying one is that they don't go in and out of style. The bad is you have to stay the same shape over the years or get it altered a lot.

I kinda like dressing up for work. I wear a suit one or two days a week, and a sports jacket and slacks and tie two or three. Fridays are a little more casual.

Re: The Tux Thread
I bought a black tux approximately 20 years ago. Wore it on three occasions that I can recall. Doubt I could fit into it now.

Re: The Tux Thread
Have never owned one. I barely ever wear the regular dress shirts and ties I own.
Re: The Tux Thread
I own not one, but two. My current GF didn't like the fit of my old one, so I splurged on a new one. (tuxedo, not girlfriend)
