That's not a birdie, that's an inside straight flush.
I had three letters (one placed correctly) after three moves and still had to stare at the board for a good half hour before I could find an attempt that Might work (it did) to save par.
While i was staring I was beginning to think there was no solution to this one.

I had the O in the correct space and the L (4th) and Y (5th) not in the right places plus already knew that E, A, U, and I were out of play. i wanted to start a word with PO to get another big consonant either out of the way or on the board, and to find that pesky vowel.
i should clarify that i absolutely do not check the wordlebot while i'm actually wordling. i only checked it this time to see how good a guess POLYP really was, since when i was staring at my remaining letters, i was also kinda drawing a blank.
