We all know how your starting word can make a big difference in your score -- either positive or negative -- depending on
that day's word. But sometimes even a single letter within your starter can be Yuge.
Today FMan (posting one minute before me) and marathon (just three minutes after) both had exact matches for slots 3 & 5
right off the bat just as I did with the only difference being that I had one additional hit on a letter.

And even though this extra hit wasn't in the proper place the only choices left for it were 1st or 4th and given the nature of
the letters already up there there was no way it could have been 4th. So 1st slot it was and while FM and mm then had to
spend multiple moves throwing up potential answers, mostly featuring different consonants I'm guessing, and hoping to hit
upon the right combo prior to busting, that one extra letter plus the luxury of knowing where it had to go meant I had only
one choice to make. iow, I couldn't have NOT nailed an Eagle/two at that point! Without that letter there would have been
multiple (twenty?) different words potentially still in play depending on which letters were eliminated with each new choice.

Sometimes scores vary greatly based on such little lucky bounces.
