Princess Kate
I hope all those people bitching about her photo-shopping her Mothers Day greeting have now put their heads in their ovens

Re: Princess Kate
Well, they won't.
The Royals mismanaged this nine ways to Sunday. Their obsessive secretiveness is part of the problem. Yes, they've got kids, but it doesn't take three months to tell them that Mom has cancer. Instead, they let speculation run wild and then tried to tamp it down with ham-handed releases. (Anybody who thinks Kate does her own photoshopping on official pictures, I got a bridge to sell ya.)
I feel for her. My dad died of cancer. She's going to go through a rough time with chemo. But they could have gotten ahead of the story and made it about courage and fortitude and all that. It might still wind up that way, but they have a habit of squandering their good will.

Re: Princess Kate
I don’t agree.
If I were a 42 year old very public figure with three little children and cancer, it would probably take me a month to figure out how to handle it publicly as well.
The fact that it took a bunch of busy bodies to force her hand is sad.

Re: Princess Kate
I completely agree. I normally couldn’t care less about the royals, but the fact that she was basically forced to come out with this is disgusting.
A bad day behind the lens is still better than a good day behind a desk

Each person deals with it in their own way.
I wish her a full recovery, shielded from the prying and rampant tabloidism of her country.
