Happy 4th of July 🇺🇸 , I spent the morning at a local marsh land (Turtle Cove) near me in the Bronx. About two weeks ago I heard a Marsh Wren out there , they are elusive birds and rarely show themselves, preferring to stay low in the high marsh grass, but they are loud for such a small bird, so I made it my mission this morning to go and see if I could get some shots...my own personal Lewis and Clarke if you like...and I did , four hours waiting and observing ( I did recon last Friday too) and it paid off ,got some great shots, lots if Herons too , great morning
