Speaking of Xmas music (as Cooby has done like four times in a row here): Who is responsible, and when was it decided, that 'My Favorite Things' is a Christmas song?

My guess it that since the song appears in what has become a yearly holiday-time showing of the film they just made a seasonal connection. I see nothing Christmas-y about the Vince Guaraldi Trio's "Linus and Lucy" either, but the connection to the cartoon is there so its gets airtime too.
