The Daily Fuehrer: Goosestepping Our Way Through the Next Four years

Post by batmagadanleadoff » Mon Feb 03, 2025 12:41 am

Today, Concentration Camps. Tomorrow, the Ovens.
Trump has consistently vilified migrants and equated them with criminals. His entire political rise is tethered to the idea that immigrants are invading the country and that only he can fix it. As Trump himself said in his statements to the press, the facility in Guantanamo is to “detain the worst criminal illegal aliens threatening the American people.”

The threat is so dire, apparently, that he plans to build a detention facility of unprecedented size in the American context. The Tule Lake Japanese internment camp, for example, had a capacity of around 18,000. If the Trump administration actually builds the detention camp in Guantanamo, it’ll double in size Auschwitz-Birkenau’s original design and be bigger than Dachau and Treblinka combined.

gotta stop saying 'four years' as if there's some safeguard or check and balance that's going to get us out of this. This is an active coup, and there seems to be very little fight in the democratic party (which is also why they didn't get elected, but we're past that now). Schumer's making deals to approve the lackeys, and just tweeting about egg prices while the government is dismantled behind him.

No, what we need to focus on is how we're support the people being targeted, and organize resistance in any meaningful way. I saw protesters yesterday managed to keep the nazi youth Musk is using for his coup out of a few government buildings.

I mentioned NJ earlier in one of the threads about what we can do. Keeping states strong/democratic might be one way to create pockets of resistance. Murphy hasn't been great overall, but there's been at least a lot of progress in some areas. Would hate for that to all go away by screwing up the election this year.

From the time he announced the "camps" I wondered what he would do with them after the people being detained were sent back to their countries of origin.
I came to the same horrifying conclusion. And now that he has freed and emboldened the skinheads, the next step will be hiring them as guards.
We've seen this script before.

Apparently one did. He can't get away from the tell.
I have never insulted anyone. I simply describe them, accurately.
