Travel lists

Post by whippoorwill » Wed Jun 29, 2022 3:44 pm

Taking a trip to Brandywine PA and OCMD

We have a packing list that we started years ago and add to it every time we think of something new. The oldest stuff remains.

Some stuff is for winter trips—-hats, gloves, hand warmers, etc

Some is for summer —-sunscreen, beach towels, swimsuits etc

What’s funny is seeing the stuff we’ve added over the years that reflects a ‘happening’ as we travel. Cold meds, Vicks, maxi pads, glasses repair kit

My favorite one though is ‘liquid skin’

We've added folding chairs that have a pull-over sun shade, replacing two folding chairs and an umbrella, for when we go to the beach.

There is a vacation thread somewhere. There are a plethora of older threads that I can not access. I can generally only view threads from the past few days. Often, in a long thread with several pages of posts, I can only view the last page or two. Probably something in my settings.

Anyway, I hope you had a great beach trip.

Thanks HC, we did but it seemed different because since my hubby had back surgery last summer, he couldn’t get in the ocean yet, so I didn’t either.

Plus worrying about my aging mom and cats kept me from really relaxing.
But it was still great to get away for awhile!

Always good to get away for a while.
Glad you had a good time.
