Which ear do you use on the telephone?
The right ear.
What is something you learned in high school that has turned out to be valuable?

I took typing in 10th grade (I believe the course was called "Personal Keyboarding") with Mrs. Blocker. Served me well in all of my subsequent studies and also professionally. I am Vince Coleman fast on the keyboard.
What do you enjoy most about autumn, now that it's here ?

I like the holidays of Autumn - the fun of Halloween and the family at Thanksgiving.
What did you learn in High School that you have no use for today?

I was about 17 and knew the stage manager at a local music venue. He would sometimes get me a gig breaking down the set-up after shows. One time, after Gladys Knight & the Pips played, I took one of the band’s drumsticks. No reason, just took it. That year I got a holiday season job at a local record store and in order to be hired I had to take a lie detector test. One question was whether I had ever stolen anything from work and I confessed. I got a weird look but passed the test.
Tell me about something that was stolen from you.

That’s a modest number lol
Stolen from me:
I liked to sew my own clothes and in ninth grade (think Bay City Rollers) tartan plaid was all the rage.
I made an outfit from red and yellow plaid, cuffed bell bottoms and a bomber style jacket and I actually wore it to school.
Jacket disappeared from my locker but I often wondered if my locker mate took it.
She was kinda rough so if she did she might have thrown it in the river or something just to avoid ever seeing it again 😂

We have two cars and we absolutely need two, because my wife won't let me drive her car. (She says I mess up the interior).

Hubby will watch Gut Fierra for hours on end. While I don’t dislike him, I can walk away easily.
I don’t watch much tv. Maybe none at all except Brit Box stuff and hubby watches with me!
Does anybody here take a swig of olive oil nightly? Do you swig it right out of the bottle? What does it do? Has it changed your life?

Don't know much about swigging olive oil nightly but I did recently go through a Guy Fieri
Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives (a/k/a Triple D or DDD) phase. The show is on for about 24 hours straight, Fridays through Saturdays on the Food Notwork. I binged DDD for a while. It might be the most tantalizing or tormenting show ever. It's not quite a cooking show. You can't follow the recipes because the complete recipes aren't revealed. Also, the specialties are cooked in a restaurant setting, invariably with cooking equipment that you won't readily find in a home kitchen. And the restaurants aren't easily accessible. They're all over the country. I mean, what the hell am I supposed to do after viewing some DDD featured chili dish that interests me? Book a vacation to Oklahoma and then rent a car so I can drive to that off the beaten path chili joint that's two dirt roads away from the nearest main highway? Not very practical. Also, it's true that the restautrant business is a tough one --- especially post-Covid. From time to time, I'd google or Yelp some of the featured joints on DDD and a large percentage of them don't even exist anymore -- they're permanently closed.

The last question I saw was do I drink Olive oil and the answer is - no.
When you travel by plane, when you get to your destination, do you rent a car, (VS using public transportation) or does that differ whether you are on business or pleasure?

The thought of drinking olive oil or any oil for that matter
kinda makes me want to throw up.
Re: transportation, it depends on the destination. If I were
to fly to NYC for a week stay why would I rent a car? So I
can pay another $1000 to park it somewhere?
Carry on...

I almost never rent a car if I can avoid it. I like public transportation. Exception - I had back-to-back conferences to attend in Vegas and Scottsdale last month, and rented a car to get from one to the other. It's a particularly beautiful drive, and I needed a car in Scottsdale, anyhow.

I am retiring at the end of the year. Not planning on moving from our current home.
If you had to move to another country, where would you choose live?
When did the choices get so hard
With so much more at stake
Life gets mighty precious
When there's less of it to waste

I'm a Dunkin guy. My brother is a Starbuck's guy. I suspect based on this fact alone that he's adopted.
What's your go to snack at the end of the day?

I have discovered these cornbread toaster cakes and I keep finding excuses to snack on them. When you apply a little bit of butter and it melts just right - yum! But it's not a good car treat because the melted butter can easily roll or drip off onto your tie. Trust me.
When you are going on vacation, would you rather head to the great outdoors or a city?
(On the other question, I love Dunkin but there are two Tim Hortons on my way to work so I usually stop there. My wife loves Starbucks, but it's getting crazy expensive.)

When we've gone on vacation lately it has been to a casino - either city (Las Vegas) or standalone casino resort (Foxwoods).
When was the last time you got a speeding ticket (and are you more aware of police since then)?

1981, in Florida. I was driving on the interstate and a statie pulls me
over for speeding. I said, there were people passing me when you're
lights went on why are you pulling me over. He said he didn't pull me
over because I was going slower that the other cars but because I was
speeding. If I had a gun I would have shot him. I didn't pay the ticket
and a year and a half later NYS sent me a suspension notice to pay the
money to Florida or lose my license. Cocksucking experience all 'round.
If the Mets moved to Jersey, would you still root for them?

My wife got it for me. It says (blushing) "Hallmark Holiday Movie Drinking Mug".
