So it was neither the Qataris nor the bronchitis.

I wanted to see an England- Argentina final, with the winner getting the Falkland Islands.

If y’all like sports and somehow did not find your eyeballs glued to the World Cup finale, what are you even doing?

What a match!

Crazy game, tuned in when it was 2-sniffle and watched some. Figured it was
over. Went out to inflate KB's tires and make them the same PSI and when I
came back in it was 2-2. Hope batmag and Nimmo get home safe from Qatar.

A lot of talk about the Emir of Qatar putting a robe on Messi when he was about to accept the cup. For me it looked very odd , but people are saying it's tradition in that country, whatever, Qatar also owns PSG the club both Messi and Mbappe play for, and several other players there today too.

You probably meant "Hope Nimmo gets home safe from Qatar." We're way ahead of you. We flew to Buenos Aires to celebrate with the locals. Nimmo couldn't find any whores in Qatar. Death penalties and beheadings and public stonings has a way of putting the kibosh on the world's oldest profession. And besides, Nimmo was worried that he'd be noticed and that then, the King Sheikh would make Nimmo wear a crazy cape. Anyways, here we are, having the best steaks in the world and they're bigger than your head. And all for pennies with the American dollar exchange rate over here. Alfajores and chimichurri on everything.

It was kind of disappointing to see a world championship game end in a shoot-out.
It was like a tied seventh game of a World Series decided by a Home Run Derby.
But, that's the rule they were playing under, so I guess soccer fans are ok with it.

Nice drive-by comment by Joe Scarborough (MSNBC) watching video of the crowd welcoming the Champs back to Argentina, "That was a bigger crowd than was at Trump's inauguration".

The '79 Mets drew bigger crowds than Trump's inauguration.

Yeah this whole thing is just gross and the Reynas come off as so self-serving and petty and just he shittiest youth sports parents, except their kid is a grown up. I feel especially bad for Rosalind Berhalter, having all this pulled into a public sphere by people who were supposed to be her friend.
