Basically this, but also very nasty stuff towards Irish born kids who's parents are born in Africa as an example, the recent success of one such Irish athlete in Paris was a far right pile on calling her African etc. There are certainly legitimate concerns around housing and the influx of refugees is being used to highlight that ( they gets housing while Irish people are homeless and ir can't afford housing) Irish lives Matter etc

My son goes to catholic HS and is entering his senior year, we ordered his uniforms through the school a while back, I emailed today to see if they came in and the principal secretary replied that yes they came in and that Fr.Jim will bless them first and give them out at orientation next Thursday

What a strange weather day today. I was out most of the day stretching into the darkness beginning late afternoon. When I left, the weather was Summery but somewhat, if not totally tolerable. But the later it got, the darker it got, the hotter and humider it got. The temperature didn't seem to stop climbing. By late night, or around when the Mets game started, I think the temperature was in the mid 90s and I was sweating my balls off and every other body part. Thank Hera and Zeus and the Eighth Dynamic for air conditioning.

Oh, they know what change is. It's just that many of them can't do the math to figure out what it should be. They are so reliant on the computer/register to calculate change for them, that they are baffled when it is down or they have to do the math themselves.
