They're obviously hoping that people will sign and then they can replace them with unqualified toadies.

We know someone at NIH who's literally had to recall completed research results that were ready to publish, because nothing is allowed to go out. Another person who is working on a federal grant is looking at her job literally disappearing overnight.

Everyone in DC is scrubbing their social media and being careful about their texts. It's a little like East Germany right now.

The anger has grown. Two of my son's friends are currently in Bogota, Colombia. The wife works in the visa section of the embassy there. The husband works for the Department of Commerce, remotely.
