At work we've recently been getting a lot of SPAM calls from Canadian area codes. (Different Provinces)

Yes. That's why I didn't say calls from Canada, just from the area codes. A new wrinkle for the spammers.

We have to record the numbers and turn them in to our telecom guy so he can block them at the switch.
Hadn't noticed Canadian ones until recently.

Spent 8 hours at the greenhouse taking plants inside and we still weren’t done, but at 5 they closed so I came home and hopefully the customers stopped coming so they could finish the job.

As for spam calls, I live in a little village of maybe 500 residents; we get calls from that exchange all the time with spam. Creeps.

It's kinda amusing that we have stuff like international space stations
and can send a craft to Saturn to send cool pictures to us but no one
seems to be able to stop robocalls completely.

How about it. My poor mom doesn’t have caller ID or a portable phone so she has to answer them

I sometimes turn on the nightly network news not to watch but more just curious as to what they judge as that day's top story.
Yesterday all three led with the (alleged) Harry & Megan paparazzi car chase/evasion incident. And somehow we're not a very well informed nation.
