Did the English Muffin thing, too. (Not in honor of the new king. We just forgot to buy rolls)
With some slices of left over steak and Worchester Sauce.
With half an ear of left over corn.

My son has his first ever part time job. He washes dishes at a local pizzeria/Italian restaurant. Very often he will bring home several slices of pizza at the end of his shift. I had one of the leftover slices for lunch today, along with a salad (butter lettuce, red onion, yellow bell peppers, carrots, green olives, sun dried tomatoes, pepperoncini, imitation bacon bits, crutons and Wegmans' Ginger Miso dressing) and a handful of honey Teddy Grahams for dessert. Washed down with a Polar raspberry lime seltzer.

Was it in a bottle or can?
Their seltzer in a can tastes like the can metal to me, but I like their bottled seltzers.

Canned seltzer. I do not taste the can personally.

I do not enjoy fresh, raw tomatoes. Never have. It's one of the few veggies I don't enjoy (along with beets & asparagus).

But it's a texture/temperature thing. I don't mind chunks of tomato in a sauce if it's warmed. And so sun-dried tomatoes are a good way to get more of those vitamins in my diet. I also like to keep veggies on hand for salads that don't involve prepping, dicing, cutting etc. That's why I always have green olives & pepperoncini on hand

I think tomatoes are technically a fruit, not a vegetable.

KB won't eat tomatoes; but she likes salsa, pasta dishes with various tomato
sauces, clams/mussels/shrimp in spicy tomato based sauce... etc.

She's weird, and so are you. lolol

I'm in that camp too.
Tomato flavor is fine but the texture not so much. As the great American philosopher George Carlin said; the Tomato looks like it's still in the larva stage.

I love tomatoes and eat them like apples-- sprinkle a little salt on them and you are good to go. I pop cherry tomatoes like candy, by the handful.

I like tomatoes, and used to do the tomatoes and salt thingie.
But due to their high Potassium content, I don't eat them as often as I would like.

Started to make a Rueben. Rye bread moldy. Put corned beef in freezer.

Heated up old can of Chef boyardee ravioli. Runny sauce..did not desire. Threw out.

Ham sandwich possible. Last date of sale Oct 12. Decided to give to stray cat (or neighbors dog, who I suspect eats stray cats food)

Finally had pork chop that had been heated up four times and was quite dry, corn that we had last weekend and a reheated manischewitz potato pancake

The wife and I went to the local farmers market then had a late breakfast (or early lunch) at Cracker Barrel. I had 2 eggs over medium, with bacon, a side of breakfast casserole, 1 biscuit with butter and coffee. Nice relaxing morning together.

There isn't a Cracker Barrel within 30 miles of our house or we would probably eat there more often.

We like Cracker Barrel, haven't been since before The Plague. I'm making breakfast
right now but dang I could go for a CB two eggs over easy with catfish, spiced apple
slices, potato casserole, English muffin and grits. And a large tomato juice.

I had a whole wheat bagel with pepper jack cheese, honey smoked turkey breast, mayo and pickled peppers, and a side of Wegmans' kettle style Maui onion chips, and washed it down with an N/A IPA.

Had a half dozen shrimp leftover from Sunday so made a little shrimp salad.
Toasted plain bagel, arugula and a slap of roasted pepper.

Not bad for an otherwise crappy Tuesday morning...

Interesting wrap -- bacon, avocado, drunk red onion (their term, not mine),
pepper jack and a fried egg. Garlic/lime/cilantro mayo on the side.

I hope Bobby Valentine sees this post!
