After watching NCIS Los Angeles for 14 years (don't judge), I watched the first part of their two part series finale Sunday night. It showed that they're trying to tie up all the story line loose ends. The editing was choppy, and the script didn't flow.
I chalk it up to the show being canceled late in the filming for this season and they had to scramble to put the closing together. A sad ending to one of my favorite shows. I had hoped for better.

Sometimes. What's the question?

Some cable stations are running Murder She Wrote for the same target audience.

Ironically, in Good Times, one of the banes cursing J.J.'s family, according to the theme song, was "easy credit ripoffs."

Back then I got more of an idea of six months no interest, then watch out. ( not that I knew at my age; I just figured these poor saps couldn’t get a break)

And wasn’t Thelma the prettiest thing?

Yeah...this is show is more ambitious than it can pull off.

The series finale of Succession was pretty much perfect, though.

I was just a tad disappointed with the Succession finale , but overall a great show and I'll miss it.

We’ve been watching a bunch of British gardening shows since early spring; Monty Don is a favorite

I wanted to be more of a fan of SUCCESSION than I was. I didn't hate it and it was certainly well done in spots.
But it would have gone down a lot easier with me if ANYONE on the show was even remotely likable and, worse than that, some just weren't believable.
Does anyone buy Tom as a guy Shiv would give the time of day to much less marry? Or a guy someone would tap to run their multi-zillion $$ acquisition?
And is it even possible to be as clueless as brother Conner?
I also had trouble following some of the business stuff: who is this guy with again?; who's turned on who this week?, etc.
The character they needed more of was Logan's brother (James Cromwell)

I agree with that, even though I really liked the show 4 seasons felt enough ,and yes, could have used more of a storyline for Ewan

My wife knows I like Ted Lasso, and recommended a show that has some of the same people involved. "Shrinking" on Apple TV was fun. I binged watched it last weekend.
