Yeah. Now it'll have to pay a $1.6M fine. I'm sure the family will now be ruined and have to live in the streets.
This is the civil case. Now the IRS will come after him and his slimy brood in criminal court.

I know.

Also, the mysterious loan from Daewoo, mostly written off six months into his presidency.

Also, Washington Post reporting that at least two more classified items were found at a storage unit in Palm Beach used by the ex-president.

The Trump personnel who ordered the search turned the items right over to the FBI. Seeing Mayor Giuliani on the hot seat for unprofessional conduct can be inspiring that way.

Former Trump chief of staff Mark Meadows was ordered Tuesday by South Carolina’s Supreme Court to appear before the Fulton County grand jury investigating Donald Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election in Georgia.
This is state court, so it can't get it reviewed or proceedings delayed, by appealing it to the US Supreme Court.

Trump's latest grift is selling NFT's of fictional Trump superhero characters.

No, really.

Here's Marshall Trump.

And the thread-counts on those NFT's are quite impressive, too!

I'm glad to see him back to his old business model of being the last guy in on every idea that has had its day.

Unfortunately like too many of those ventures, he's licensing his name to somebody else, so he gets a guaranteed take and some other sap gets to eat it.

The company I work for has Trump stuff in their catalog.
Our target demographic (mid-America, ex-military, seniors) used to eat that shit up.
But it does my heart good to see those sales declining steadily.
I hope this new grift flops leaving him with lots of egg on his face.

Yeah, but it probably won't. There's a sucker born every minute and there're way more than enough fucking dumb people out there anyways and he'll pick their pockets right out in the open and without an iota of shame.

I mean, theoretically, isn't this a great way for him to launder foreign money? I bet MBS would buy 1 million pictures of Trump in Superman underoos.

I'm surprised there wasn't one of him shirtless on horseback.

House democrats introduced a bill barring Trump from running for president under the 14th Amendment.
Section 3 of the amendment states that no one who previously took an oath to support the Constitution and engaged in “insurrection or rebellion” shall “hold any office, civil or military, under the United States.”

I'm not sure why we would need an act of Congress to compel compliance with the Constitution.

The Amendment has already been voted on and enacted. Its enforcement is a matter for the courts.

Don't know for sure. It should be self evident (or whatever the proper Legal term is)with no action required for the government to keep him off the ballot. But the Government would need evidence, or maybe conviction of one of the mentioned crimes to act.
This would be by resolution with no prior trial necessary.
Or, they could be doing it to remind someone in the Attorney General's office to take action.

Similar cases have been brought (unsuccessfully)to keep Jan 6th insurrectionists and their supporters (like Matt Gaetz) from running for re-election. But those were in state and not federal elections.

I don't really care, but how could something like this 'sell out?'

They're images created with remedial Photoshop skills. Just make more.
Or are these 'limited edition?' lolol
