I'm not sure what you mean by "prepper." Doomsday prepper?

The gun nuts I know seem to fantasize even harder about a home invasion. That's their dream scenario, to "protect their family" by killing a would-be intruder, instead of you know, locking their doors at night.

Any regulation of guns whatsoever= 'coming for my guns', to a certain sector of the populace. That's one of the reasons this is so hard.

Harris made a surprising admission that she was a gun owner and that if someone broke into her home she wouldn't be afraid to use it. Statistically, she'd be more likely to wound Doug than to kill an intruder, but it is what it is.
Even duct tape can't fix stupid. But it can sure muffle the sound.
