Re: Bending the Knee and Politics in 2025
Elon supporting AfD, giving the Nazi salute, and telling Germans they need to get over the Holocaust is part of it. The other part is that unlike the US, they have many choices of good cheap EVs. The Chinese will own the European market in 10 years or less.
In the US, we've slapped a 100% tariff on Chinese EVs, done by Biden, not Trump. The reason is simple; if they didn't, the US automobile industry would eventually cease to exist. That's how much better they are. While here, the big 3 focus on Bronto-trucks, the Chinese make cars with better tech, longer range, and prices a fraction of ours. Keeping them out frees Detroit to make and sell half-assed EVs and lots of profitable gas cars. Tesla has the same problem- their lineup is stale, you can't even sell the Cyber-Edsel in Europe (it's too big). Tesla sales in China are tanking- down by 49 percent, and that's not political- they're just getting beaten by local Chinese brands on tech and price, even though Tesla manufactures in China.

Greenland would be fairly easy to take over. Of course the blowback would be enormous and fracture NATO. Putin and Xi cackle with glee.
Canada, well that's another story. You think Russia had trouble with Ukraine, that'd be a walk in the park compared to the Great White North.

Conor McGregor was given time in the White House today, and to speak in the press room , just to be clear , most Irish born people absolutely think he is a disgusting person, what a fucking joke

It's hard. I ceased and desisted from the other thread
pretty easily. I need to work on divorcing myself from
the news better and take things more week to week and
not hour to hour.

I just realized why he's making all the draconian cuts and unpopular decisions.
He wants to foment massive civil unrest so he can declare a national emergency, call out the military and cancel the 2026 elections.
I wonder if the demonstrations are playing into his hands.

It sounds like the biggest threat to our national security is the group that is supposed to protect our national security.
If this had happened under Biden or Obama, the GOP would be calling for them to be executed for treason.

The officials who are trying to deflect by saying the attack information wasn't classified are playing with words. The information was an attack plan, and an enemy shouldn't know what's coming and when.
Any soldier who is about to go into battle is ok if the enemy will know when and where the attack will start?
Of course not.
Didn't Benedict Arnold try to do that?
Ask the families of the service people who were put in jeopardy if they agree.

They're so full of shit. They say that the info discussed was not classified but then at the same time, refuse to answer questions on grounds that the information is classified.MFS62 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 26, 2025 3:01 pm The officials who are trying to deflect by saying the attack information wasn't classified are playing with words. It's all Kabuki theater. By this point, I don't know why this Administration even bothers to put up the pretense of cooperating with Congressional committees. I'm surprised that under oath and in testimony, they don't just pull their pants down and take a shit in the middle of the hearing room in response to any questions. Nobody' s gonna do anything anyways. And the stupid retard jackasses who voted for this bunch will, at the most, vote for a different Republican scumbag liar the next time around. I say bring it all down. Bring down the whole house. Starvation. Bankruptcies. Regular foreign terrorist attacks on our soil. Pandemics. Because that's what it's gonna take for the Dems to finally obtain a commanding Senate majority. Fuck it.

Lancaster County, Pa., hotbed of Amish all you can eat restaurants, voted for a Democrat in a special election for a state Senate seat. The seat was held by the GOP for decades. President Hitler won the county by 15 points last November.
