I doubt Trump can win in 2024 anyways. He lost convincingly to Biden, squeaked by by a micro-hair in 2016 and is damaging his electability more and more with each passing day. I think he's shot.

And some pols are refusing to evacuate with the maskless Republicans out of coronavirus fears, so they are evacuating to a less secure area (less secure from the rioters), balancing the risk with the coronavirus.

How could they not be expecting this to happen? Trump has been telegraphing this for days. There were a lot of MAGAs there, but a relatively moderate amount compared to the size and frequency of other protests in DC.

It completely blows my mind that these people were able to get guns, flags and backpacks into the Capitol with such ease. And 13 arrests? C'mon, man.

Compared to the thousands of extra troops and cops called out for the BLM protests last year, which, of course, contained no violent acts from any protesters towards any American institutions.

Of course, most of those protesters were people of color, women, and confirmed snowflake libs.
