yeah, 2,800 seats so pretty darn close to 3000...it was built in 1931...

by the way, it looks like you were there May 24th, 1978
https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/bruce-sp ... 7aefd.html

I've seen at least 3 shows there:
Frampton (some time before July 21, 1981);
Judas Priest (with Iron Maiden as the warmup band) July 21, 1981;
Alice Cooper November 30, 2011;

Yup, that's the one. 6th row center IIRC.

The fact that a set list exists from 45 years ago is both amazing and somewhat disturbing.
As four of the first seven songs on that list indicate, the concert was held at night.

what I think is funny is that the setlist from the "warmup band" that I saw there in 1981 is posted but the headliner is not

I love Setlist.FM.

Check it out. Springsteen joined in the night Patti Smith debuted "Because the Night."

Cool, surprised that it mentioned that the fire Marshall's shutdown the show early due to over crowding

Setlist.fm is amazing. This is the set list from my all time favorite show ever attended, the Rolling Stones Steel Wheels tour, 10.26.89, where I sat in short left/center field at Shea, ten rows from the stage.

25 songs? that's getting your money's worth...Looks like Keith gave Mick about a 10-15 minute breather in the middle of the show

I never saw ACDC in concert, however when we were teenagers, we went to this giant movie theatre in Albany, NY and watched a concert film that was filmed just before Bon Scott's death: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AC/DC:_Let_There_Be_Rock

We all ran off to the porta potties during those songs. I can recall running back to the opening of Paint it Black.

It's a great album! I have some minor beefs. "After All" is an awful opener. I leave if off my playlist and start with "Mob Rules." And RJD could talk a little less - especially during the start of "Heaven and Hell."

Man, that's super. Criminally underrated hard rock, the Dio/Iommi stuff.

I suppose it is an odd song to open with, but they kicked ass with Mob Rules
as the second song. Woke everyone up lol. I was at that show and yes Ronnie
was a bit showy for the DVD I guess. I saw them again on the same tour at Mo-
hegan Sun with Alice Cooper and Queensryche and he barely spoke. Truthfully,
Alice shined that night over mighty 'Sabbath' but unfortunately didn't play this...
