So I played Wordle today after a long layoff. Apparently, my last 18 games are saved in my Wordle stats. So if I haven't lost a game in my saved stats, how come my streaks aren't at 18? (Personally, I don't remember ever losing a Wordle game, including the games I played whose stats were lost). This is so screwy.

When the game switched from its original domain to the New York Times' domain, all of my history transferred except for the "max streak" and "current streak" data, which got reset to zero. That may have been what happened to you.

I believe "streaks" get reset even if you just skip playing for a day.

Great. You’ve sucked me back in.

This was a bit of a difficult one to start getting from the front… eked it out in the end. Yay.

The daily data updates would be unweildy, but we could play King of the Hill by posting our current streaks.

Mine since at 26 (since JUDGE-ment Day). I feel confident that sharpie is our current leader and KING OF THE HILL.

Current streak at 30, well below my max of 169.

I'm sitting at 30 also. I'm remembering now that we both got JUDGE'd.

What do youse other mugs have?

I'm also at 30. I have to think that if I was a Yankees fan I would have gotten JUDGE, but I have no regrets. Some things are more important than Wordle.

Looks like a modest three-way tie at the top of the hill then. Unless Fman is still tearing.

Sharpie, what was your starting word that gave you the hole in one?

And belated congratulations on that!

My hole-in-one was ALTER. I'd been using it for many months and it has been an adjustment to not automatically go for it now.

Before JUDGE I was at 99 (Aaron's number so there might have been a Yankee hex on me that day).
