The young couldn't be able to up and fly away just since this morning could they? Mom was sitting there as usual when I passed her at 7 AM

Saw on the local news last night that there's an escaped (from a zoo) Peacock in a tree in the Bronx (180th Street and Vyse Ave). The locals have named it Raoul.

We have a little grey and white woodpecker working on the neighbors' grapevine roots all day.
