also predict that such nonsense will never even get to hearings or whatever.

I can say this here, because everyone pretty much discounts everything I say.

This is plausible, though I wouldn't exactly bet on it. The nation may be tiring of GOP theatrics and the GOP may be starting to sense it, too. Who knows? Is the fever breaking?

the fever is irrelevant as long as they continue to cheat, "redistrict" and try to overthrow the government.

Because most people aren't voting wit the "fever" they're just voting because decades of indoctrination of convinced them that democrats are bad and that all the ills, inflation, (fake) crime waves, (fake) immigration invasions, taking their guns, raising their taxes..etc are all the results of democrat policies.

This is why Liz Cheney is the same as TFG. When it comes down to it, they vote the same way, and it's destroying America.

Hell, i saw a tweet yesterday from a police dept admitting that "now that the election is over" crime is actually down. And the media happily pedaled the fake crime wave stories and Democrats happily expand the power of the police and the lies about crime too! So does it matter, if TFG doesn't run, or doesn't win the nomination? We're just going to get "back to the sane Republican party" lie, and it might actually be WORSE. TFG was a symptom of the disease, not the cause.

Yes. Because they own the Supreme Court, which has been killing this country even before the GOP stole two seats. Without even getting into the cultural issues like abortion, guns and LGBTQ rights, SCOTUS has issued outrageously flawed and politically hack partisan opinions in Shelby, Citizens United and Rucho that enable the GOP minority to control this country. This will persist until Dems find the balls and the votes to take back SCOTUS.

It's looking like Republicans will pull out a very narrow lead in the House. It'll mean nothing substantive gets done for the next two years, with the exception of Republicans taking the debt ceiling hostage (again). Democrats can fix this in the lame duck if they can get Manchin and Sinema to go along, never a good bet.

And of course there'll be lots of Hunterbiden, Hunterbiden, Hunterbiden.

But the crazies running the show for 2 years on the House side will set up a nice contrast for 2024. Trump making his announcement tonight is just frosting on the crazy cake. Let the games begin.
They're gonna impeach Biden like 8 times.

You know what? I hope they do. And I hope Trump gets the nomination and runs again in 2024. Trump had his miracle in 2016 but once the nation learned who he was, he lost everywhere. He lost the House in his mid-term election - historically, so. Dems picked up about 40 House seats but the lines were so outrageously gerrymamdered that with the votes the Dems won, they should've picked up 20 more seats. He lost the Senate in 2020 and lost to Biden by 7 million votes. Arizona and Georgia voted blue and Georgia sent two Dem senators to the senate.

Let me add one thing here: the only reason Trump didn't also lose the Senate during his mid-term election was because the 2018 Senate map was about as disproportionately lopsided as any Senate map in modern history. Dems were defending practically every seat up for grabs. And by the way, that senate map is coming up again in the next senate election (2024).
