Sentencing (by the judge he just slandered) is scheduled for July 11. The Republican National Convention opens July 15.

I'm sure he's the nominee at the moment, but somebody at the RNC is probably having thoughts about Ambassador Haley.

She needs to unsuspend her campaign ASAP. I never thought she should have stopped in the first place with the charges looming.

What could she run on? She's already declared herself to be in the bag for him.

If, and it's a big if, she ends up being the nominee, it will almost certainly be through him turning the reins (and his delegates) over to her with the implicit promise of a pardon in return.

But I'd be pretty shocked to see her relaunching her campaign at this point.

I'm certain that Haley would pardon Trump even if she was never asked. They pretty much all would. Except Liz Cheney, if she ever won the WH. Maybe Chris Christie wouldn't. But I'm not so sure.
