Typical lunch for me these days - at least in the first half of the week, while my greens are still green.

A big salad, first - mixed lettuces, onions, carrots, my own pickled peppers, olives, pepperoncini, crutons & a light French dressing
Sandwich on whole wheat - pepper jack cheese, honey turked, mayo, mustard, more pickled peppers
Girl scout cookies (today's box is some freezer Thin Mints)
Ice water

After Wednesday most weeks I switch the salad to some baked chips or reduced fat kettle chips with the sandwich.

Yesterday I had a lo carb tortilla with some Black Forest deli ham and shredded lettuce, a little hoagie oil, and a slice of provolone cheese on the side.

Today about two pounds of leftover spaghetti

I have a feeling that is going to be my lunch this week because we're having turkey meatballs and spaghetti tonight.

Asparagus is evil. Your opinion may vary, of course.

Went out for lunch with wifey.
I had a chicken burrito with refried beans and guacamole (before Gov Abbott's border slowdown causes the price of avocados to rise) and she had a salad with grilled chicken.

Quarter Pounder with cheese meal. Large. I still havent had a full sit down eat in meal at a restaurant in more than two years since the first covid shutdowns. But I've had pizza a few times and McDonalds like two or three times this year. I'm rationalizing that it's a quick meal that takes no more than 20 minutes but at the same time, I know that I'm rationalizing and the logic is faulty given my covid concerns.

Bratwurst with sauerkraut and horseradish mustard on a just-baked
steak roll. No bier, plain seltzer. Prost anyways!!

Today I had a sandwich made of two Gortons fish sticks on white bread and some leftover butter and parsley noodles.
Commence to drool.

Bonus question: guess many times I had to type Gortons for the phone to keep it right

MMM, but I prefer mayo on my fish sticks.

Four.

I had the salad, soup and turkey sandwich lunch special at Cheesecake Factory.

Lean turkey and ham, pepper jack cheese, lite mayo and my own homemade concoction of pickled peppers & onions on whole wheat bread, and a side of Wegmans' kettle style jalapeno chips. Which are magical.

Then for dessert some honey Teddy Grahams.

Washed down with a Wegmans' raspberry seltzer.

Handmade Turkey & cheddar wrap with Thousand Island dressing and a local orchard-picked nectarine. Utz Sourdough Nugget pretzels for dessert.

Local deli had a fried flounder on steak roll with lettuce, tomato, razor-
thin marinated red onion and chipotle tartar sauce special today. Five
stars. And it's not even Lent.

Leftover fried clam po-boy and onion rings.
First time we tested out the air fryer setting on our toaster oven and it worked pretty well. Toasted the roll first and added the remoulade sauce after everything came out of the toaster.
