New holiday, lotta things closed. Banks, market and no mail.

I'm not working on anything, unless yard work counts later. KB's new office
is open. She started working for a neighboring municipality recently and she
was told Friday to report for duty because the Board of Trustees has yet to
approve the new holiday. Gubment inaction.

my company did the FH Friday for some reason, so I was off already. been there, done that. Would've worked out much better for today because I've got both preschool graduation and 2nd grade "moving up" ceremonies to deal with today.

Company open. We would actually piss off our customers if we were closed.
I'm working.

And because there is no mail, our customers won't be receiving our ads and I expect business to be slow.

My employer actually gave us Friday off in addition to the holiday today. We've been getting a lot of extra days off since COVID started in lieu of getting raises. <shrug>

I worked my ass off. And with all due respect and selfishness, pissed off that the garbage men didn't come. Monday is our "recycling" day, we get more weeks of 2 week accumulated garbage than anyone.
