Recovering from Covid , off work three weeks, mom in and out of hospital…trying to get some spirit up. My sons birthday was last Friday. He and his wife went to the Penguins game (match?) and they won

So far for him we have a nice shirt (new position at work) a gift card for B&N and some cash. How pathetic is that? When I was a young woman working full time I did better than that.

Something is a wrong here…😢

Thank you KC and I hope you and KB are doing better! Myself, Mr Cooby, Grandma Cooby, Daughter Cooby, grandson Cooby, son in law Cooby, and sister in law Cooby all seem to be better (considering renaming my mom typhoon Lena)

It’s just been a poop show this year but at last the tree is up and I hope the worst is behind us!

My brother and I worked with mom on her new Stair Glide today…despite the obvious reason for it (her grudging lessening of mobility) we had some fun and some laughs. Bittersweet laughs.
She’s so damn cute and so afraid people will think her house is cluttered because of these new things.

Tomorrow her caregiver (my daughter in laws aunt) is stopping by if we don’t get the 1-1000 inches of snow predicted, and they will set up a tree

See how I deftly coursed that back to the Holidays?
