Holy white supremacists, Batman!

Out immediately. No farewell show. There's gotta be a lot more to this story. Don't know how long his contract is, but I bet Fox won't let him work anywhere else until it's up.

Now THAT's the way to start a week!!!!!!

Apparently he closed Friday's show telling the viewers he'd be back on Monday.

I wonder if his firing was a condition of the Dominion settlement? Or if it has something to do with the pending Smartmatic case?

I expect we'll be learning more before long.

The Washington Post wrote:...it was Carlson’s comments about Fox management, as revealed in the Dominion case, that played a role in his departure from Fox, a person familiar with the company’s thinking told The Post.
The Washington Post wrote:Another on-air personality added: “This is major. It sends a message that even the guy with the highest ratings of all, by a long shot, doesn’t get to survive this disaster.”

Don Lemon, who also has had issues, is out at CNN.

The timing is interesting for both of them.
A planned firing is usually at the end of the month - makes bookkeeping easier.
These seem to be immediate decisions.

Right-wing heads are exploding. The comments section at Breitbart is hilarious. Just a sample:

If the Biden administration can get Tucker fired then they can get to anyone who tells the truth. Make no mistake, this is a all out war on our freedoms. Trump is our last and only hope.

Lemon was just a jerk and deserved firing. But Tuckums.....firing the #1 rated cable 'news' guy is rather extreme.

Heading to Shop-Rite to get more popcorn.

Good lord.
That person is probably hoping Enrique Tarrio replaces Carlson.

I feel like "It’s not how white men fight" is going to be an expression in American English long after people have forgotten who Tucker Carlson was.

"Hey, Coach, maybe our team would win once in a while if you stopped playing your kid at second base!!"

Kayleigh was Trump's press secretary for a year, I had to google Gilmartin to know who he was, she certainly doesn't need to be referred to as "her husband's wife" as if she weren't in fact the more well known public figure in her own right.

It was a Mets-related joke. I know who she is.

Given her previous position as a serial liar and propagandist, the FOX gig will be perfect for her.
