Four kick returns for touchdowns as a Jet,
including a league-leading three in 2007.
Twice exceeded 2,000 all-purpose yards.
Led league in all-purpose yards in 2008
with 2,332. NFL Alumni Special Teams
Player of the Year (2008). All-time franchise
leader in kick-return touchdowns.
Three-time Pro-Bowler (1964, 1966, 1969).
First-team All-Pro (1969). Two-time second-
team All-Pro (1964, 1965). AP AFL Rookie
of the Year (1964). UPI AFL Rookie of the
Year (1964). Fourth in voting for AP AFL
Player of the Year (1969). Led league in
touches (1964). Fourth all-time in franchise
rushing yards. Tenth all-time in rushing
touchdowns. Fourth all-time in rushing
attempts. Super Bowl III champion. Ran for
121 yards and lone touchdown in Super Bowl
III. Also caught four passes for 40 yards and
did kick and punt coverage in the game, but
somehow didn't win the game's MVP.

I like how Matt Snell kind of looks like he has a youthful sweetness and kind of looks like the number on his jersey represents his age. It's like somebody coaxed him into putting on his old gear five years after his retirement.

I think it was pretty apparent that the MVP was predetermined. Let's see now, who was it that filled up our reporter notebooks all week? Oh yeah, it was THAT guy. Everyone vote for him!
