So, I was putting together my end of year book list and found that I finished fewer books this year than normal. I realized that I am spending more time with podcasts in 2023. I don't see that we have a podcast thread (but if I am mistaken, please feel free to merge).
Do you have podcasts that you listen to regularly?
Everyday I start any time in the car with NPR's Up First which is just a 15 minute rundown of the top three news stories of the morning. Also daily, I take in one of Scott Galloway's podcasts. He is an NYU Marketing professor and entrepreneur. He typically does four Prof G episodes a week, a market review on Mondays, office hours on Wednesdays where he takes submitted questions, a general show with an interview on Thursday and then a blog post read by George Hahn on Saturdays where the subjects vary from week to week. On Tuesdays and Fridays I will also listen to Pivot which is Galloway with co-host Kara Swisher, a tech journalist.
On a non-daily basis, I will check in on The Daily and The Run-Up from NYT, Ukraine: The Latest from The Telegraph, Talking Feds which is a legal roudtable from Harry Litman and As Goes Wisconsin which is a daily political show focused on the state.
