As Time Goes By -from Casablanca recorded by Rudy Vallee. I’ll Be Home For Christmas – Bing Crosby Jingle Bells – Bing Crosby, The Andrews Sisters Irene – Leadbelly I Can’t Stand Losing You – The Ink Spots
Jailhouse Rock was the #1 song when I was born. In addition, that year I've got:
Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On and Great Balls Of Fire -- Jerry Lee Lewis
That'll Be the Day, Peggy Sue and Not Fade Away -- Buddy Holly
Rock and Roll Music - Chuck Berry
Lucille and Keep A Knockin' -- Little Richard
Searchin' - The Coasters
Wake Up Little Susie -- The Everly Brothers
Walking After Midnight -- Patsy Cline
It Hurts Me Too -- Elmore James
Got My Mojo Working -- Muddy Waters
Twenty Flight Rock -- Eddie Cochran
There are others but I'll leave it there.

For the week I was born, the Beatles held the top 5 slots on the Billboard chart. Five! Lucky I didn't get named Ringo.

Yeah, I would consider myself pretty blessed with a name like that.
All four Beatle names actually went down in popularity during the 1960s — and since, also.
Lennon, Harrison, and Dylan as first names, however, have been tearing through the roof.
