Wishing we could bring back some favorite peoples as well as threads.

Here’s the last question left hanging, by Old Mole in early 2007

What's your favorite eat-out-of-the-box snack?

"Screaming Yellow Zonkers"

How do you like your peanut butter - plain, with jelly or something else?

I was thinking of this thread the other day. Thanks for reviving it.

Sorry, I didn't keep up right.

Not a fan of PBJ. Peanut butter and an apple or banana is more appealing to me.

We planted a lot of seeds this spring; some made it and some didn’t. One of my biggest disappointments was a seed for Billy Balls, a very cool flower we had at the greenhouse where I worked.

Have you been swimming this summer?

No, can't go swimming any more - just up to my knees.

I don't find drinks particularly cooling. Give me a fan or AC over a
beverage any day for cooling.

How many gay or lesbian couples do you know?

Your favorite drink for staying cool was already answered. Try not to mess up the flow here, or hog up all of the questions like you hog up the up for grab IGT's.

Yuck. It doesn't. But if it wasn't chlorinated or pissed in and nobody had swam in it and instead, spiked with Diet Pepsi, I might give it a shot.

Perry Mason or Columbo? Why?

Thank you kindly for moderating. I don't know what this place

This place would be a heckuva lot better. I know how to moderate, not that I'd ever wanna. I'm fair to a fault and extremely reasonable. And I know what it takes to moderate a place.

But thank you for at least not going all JD Vance weird on the richter scale of weirdness and creeping me out by demanding that I out myself and then complaining because we never went to a Mets game together, all because somebody else criticized the orange psychopath.

What exactly did you wanna do? Have my local pizzeria deliver $300.00 worth of pizza pies to my home?

This is just dumb and over-the-top stupid
Your contempt for me is just plain creepy.

Columbo , likely because I used to watch it as a kid with my grandfather, plus Falk was brilliant

Fun fact the killer in the last episode of Columbo was Matthew Rhys ...who of course went on to play Perry Mason

I'm partial to Ursula from the Little Mermaid, because she bears a strong resemblance to one of my wife's less pleasant aunts (unofficially dubbed "Aunt Ursula" in internal conversations).

When my sweet cat Bennie was alive we discovered he loved pizza flavored Fish crackers! During the pandemic they were hard to find!

Anyway I kept a bag of them up on my nightstand to nibble on while I was reading and would give him one or two also.

Don’t have the heart to buy them now.

What is the weirdest outfit you’ve ever worn that you thought was great at the time?

Sausage and peppers in tomato based sauce or no sauce at all?

Re: New Answer/Ask thread

No sauce, no onions either. I grill the peppers (two red, two green) and the sausages (Premio, either chorizo or hot Italian) and put them on a quality steak roll. (Coat the peppers in olive oil and sea salt before grilling.)

Now that I'm typing that, I'm sorry I'm having something else for dinner tonight.

Funny you asked that. When my cat passed away a few years ago, I decided not to get another one, specifically because I'm no longer certain enough that I'd outlive it.

Also, I eat my Italian sausages more or less just like you do. But I'll also sauce them up. I mix it up. Now Argentine style sausages (chorizos), those go with chimichurri instead of tomato sauce.

Do you save your books after having read them? Or do you gift them or otherwise discard them? Have big bookshelves, which have been in vogue ever since the covid lockdown? Some of youse here are very prolific book readers and read about a book a week year in, year out and would need a lot of bookshelf space for your books.

My wife generally gets rid of her books after reading them. I tend to keep mine.
As for the sausages - sauce and pasta for me. I'm allergic to cooked peppers.

How long do you generally keep a car?

I've got hundred of books and they all fit on my nightstand in easy reach.

I am eternally sorry for not sticking to the true answer/ask format
that is in place and I'm ready for all the forum blow back that may
ensue for my not doing so in reaction to this post.

I like tomato sauce based sausage and peppers. But...

This evening I'm having sliced hot sausage, peppers, onions, garlic
red potato and mushrooms with no sauce.

Since you're putting it out there for public consumption, I'll respond. I don't see anything wrong with answering a question that interests you, even though it was already answered. In fact, I think that that kind of participation makes for a better thread by adding a variety of answers instead of just one.

What is wrong is intentionally skipping over somebody's asked and answered post out of spite just because you started an unjustified fight with him the day before over a post that you didn't even understand.
