Used Cars

Anyone here have any experience with one of those on-line used car ‘vendors’ such as Car Max or Carvana?
It seems to me that it would replace a lot of the hassle and pressure of dealing with a used car dealer(s) and these on-line places seem to give an all-included total price to you with those extraneous costs that dealers like to tack on at the end in order to keep their advertised price down already built in.
The down side is that you’re essentially buying sight unseen. You can refuse the purchase at the time of delivery from what I can gather if you don’t like what see but part of the purchase price is a delivery charge that’s non-refundable.
Nothing imminent, but I’ve just recently started thinking about replacing my quite old but still very reliable car with a newer one and may go used for a couple of reasons so have just started dipping my toe into this new-ish method and would welcome any comments, recommendations, warnings, etc.
