I voted Harris, more with my heart than my head.

I was too overCAHNfident in 2016. There's no way I'm participating in this poll

Harris. Feeling a lot better about it than I did a few days ago.

I've been under the impression all along that he would win.

I could be wrong, but completely objectively, looking just at polling trends—comparing 2016, 2020 and 2024—it looks like a Trump victory. However, I'm not very political and don't know the nitty gritty that others do. I just went by polling trends.

Why wouldn't he win? The system is so rigged and unfair in favor of the GOP, that she has to have a fucking landslide just to claim a small victory. And if her victory is small enough, then they'll steal it from her. This is so sad.

She had been urged enough.
It is now time to urge the voters.

Harris.

I've knocked on over 1500 doors across three separate areas of Wisconsin this cycle. Rural, urban, farm or suburb, women are pissed and motivated. And they are being very quiet about it. But it is real.

Tomorrow I'll work at a polling station where those opening absentee ballots will need to wear N95s and gloves out of safety due to threats of foreign substances. It's fucked up that this is the world we live in and people are becoming tired and aggravated by it. Enthusiasm for Trump is nowhere near where it was in 2020 and he lost the state then. I can't speak for Pennsylvania and Michigan. But I'm confident about WI.

North Carolina will be an early bellwether tomorrow. Polls close there at 7:30ET and they count very quickly. If Harris wins there, I think Trump is cooked even if they don't call the nation for her until PA and WI are counted. Georgia and Michigan should also be called tomorrow night. We may not know the actual outcome tomorrow night, but we'll have a pretty good idea.

She'll win and it won't be as close as the polls say.

I'll be completely out of pocket until after the polls close in California, so that'll be interesting.

I'm sick of listening to the polls.

At least we'll be done with those candidate ads tossing mud at their opponents.

And I approve this message.

I think I share your optimism, but I'm really more terrified than anything else because the consequences of a Harris loss will be catastrophic , I believe. Tens of millions of lives will be irreparably damaged, for cruelty's sake, as a result.

Not just you. I'm feeling like a fucking idiot after posting pretty much an entire page on how that Iowa poll basically said that Kamala had it in the bag.

Did we miss signs? She performed poorly across the board. Not just swing states, but even in states she won. She lost the popular vote by a considerable margin.

Going forward the party is going to have to have a better gauge on the popularity of a presidency and candidate. Both were thoroughly rebuked.
