I am on work travel in Chicago today and flying home tonight. I suspect much of the conclusive results will come while I'm in the air. I voted on day 1 of early voting in NY so I'm good there.

Taking the morning off from work to drive people to the polls. I was going to head to Pittsburgh, but the volunteer organization I'm working with (
www.Rideshare2Vote.com) said they needed more drivers here in Cleveland, where we have a tossup Senate race.

Just got a call from a gal who was maybe in Malaysia? Asking me to vote for Bob Casey.
I just put the phone down and let her do her spiel
Sometimes I feel so mean.

I'm not mentally equipped to spend 4-5-6-8 years of my
sixties with Herr Trumptard at the helm of this country.
Gonna go get a bottle of vodka, then make some beef stew,
and hope that America does the right thing...

You know he's going to 1-cheat and 2-accuse the others of cheating. It's going to be a shitshow all week.
Voted this morning

Voted today. We’re having Indian food tonight in honor of Kamala. Might top it off with Jamaican rum.

I was reading that we won't know anything until about 8 p.m. The smart thing to do would be to tune everything out, have a stress-free dinner and start checking around 9.
I won't do that though. I'll stress all day. Check for scraps and tidbits and just generally drive myself crazy.
I don't know what I'll do if she loses. I can't take 4 more years of this. And especially the vindication of such evil.

We’ve gone to vote twice and come back home because of the long line and lack of parking and it’s a big lot.
We will try again in a bit.

If this lasts too long, it won't be a drive for me. It will just be a putt.

It won't be four years, it will be forever. There won't be an election in
2028, Dicktaters don't run for office once in power. And he'll have SCROTUS
to back him up with presidential immunity. If he gets old or dies, the torch
will get passed to the next dicktard.
It's very depressing, and what's more depressing is seemingly half of the
country doesn't get that they have been bamboozled by a snake oil vendor.

Early voting turned out to be a pain in the ass as well, but I'm glad we did it. If this country ever has another election, I'll be sure to do it again.

My precinct ran out of I Voted stickers. I’ll take that as a good sign or poor planning.

WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—Responding to “a situation of utmost urgency,” President Biden released the nation’s Strategic Alcohol Reserve just hours before Election Night.
Immediately following the announcement, the price of vodka dipped below three dollars a gallon and Biden’s approval rating surged to 94 percent.
But even as Americans cheered, experts warned that excessive liquor consumption could cause severe mental impairment akin to that exhibited by undecided voters.
Statistics show that the nation’s alcohol supply has been under acute pressure since November of 2016.

as a single issue voter, both parties are pretty regressive towards my issue, but since there's not a single thing that would be better under Trump if you're not rich, it's not really any choice at all. Ironic, given how much choice that party wants to deny us.

Each of the three times I went by my local early voting site (library) there were lines out the door and into the parking lot.
I walked into the regular voting spot this morning and was in a booth within three minutes.
I hate waiting on lines.
btw, your 'I Voted' sticker gets you a free glazed donut at any Krispy Kreme outlet.

We got to the early voting place about fifteen minutes before it closed, and there were only four people ahead of us. Maybe that's the trick.

Key battleground state Pennsylvania won't totally stop voting at 8PM. One of the counties had trouble with their scanners and that county's polls will stay open until 10 PM.

There was a couple in front of us that dispute living in the same house was registered in two different precincts 🤦♀️
Although I’m sure they were Reds I’m hoping they just moved here and one of them forgot to change their address.
