Any or all of the above may be bots, trolls, alternative IDs for more established members, ceetar, or other. I'm perhaps most intrigued to meet our two vowel-heavy users who joined within two minutes of each other on October 15. I vaguely suspect they are new tire manufacturers that have joined to follow our tire thread.

I'm hoping AIMrMet is oldoriginaljb, but I doubt it... haha

If we're on ehost, justhost or that bluesomething there's supposedly
a big phpbb upgrade coming. Maybe that will cut down on the 'guests'
and the phony registrants.

It looks like "people" are figuring out a way to get past the little quiz that comes up at registration, where you sort Mets position players and pitchers. Anyone with access to Google could have solved the puzzle at any time but until now few have bothered. Maybe AI bots have become sophisticated enough to solve the puzzle.
