And, yes, I avoided using the word 'Urine' in the subject heading because I never knew why it was in there in the first place.
But if someone else wants to add some piss, magical or otherwise, then it's fine with me.

SNL is celebrating its 50th season with a three-hour-plus prime time special tonight.
Problem is, while I'm sure there will be some good stuff in there, I haven't watched regularly in decades and have seen next to nothing from that aired in the current century.
So there will be cast members celebrated who I've either never heard of or maybe know by name but know nothing of their strengths, skits or characters.
I also tend to be wary of self-congratulatory shows -- Hey, tune into the ESPYs and watch ESPN celebrate itself!! -- so this is a bit of a warning signal for me too.
The recently released movie, while decent enough and Not an in-house production, was still kind of a love letter to Lorne Michaels so I fear this could be an over the top version.

Maybe I'll record it and swallow it in small bites and skip the parts I'm not interested in.

Good for you. That's because SNL isn't funny. SNL used to be funny. But that was a long, long time ago. On those rare occasions today when I watch it (almost never) I cringe because of how bad it is. If I hear that there was a funny sketch, in today's world, I can catch the supposedly funny sketch on YouTube.

Them celebrating cast members losing it and not being able to hold in their laughter is also some BS. That isn't funny to me. That completely removes me from the moment.

If you're nor watching Paradise on Hulu, you should be.

Very few things surprise me on television, but this one sure did. If you've watched it, you'll know what I mean.

Episode 7 left me rattled. I didn't sleep that night. Just superb television.

If you like the tradition of quirky, annoying and persistent detectives in the Colombo and Monk mold, you might like Elsbeth on CBS.
I didn't think I'd like it, but now I do.

Michael Che, who shares the weekend update segment of Saturday Night Live has definite opinions about women in sports. He has been making fun of the WNBA for years as a running joke.
Well, he found a new target.
Michael Che took a shot at the world’s — but not necessarily Americans’ — favorite sport. “President Trump also said that he signed an executive order to ban men from playing in women’s sports. But if men aren’t allowed to play women’s sports, explain soccer.”

In addition to Irrational, we also just finished The Lost Symbol which was great, and today we watched the Conclave which was also very good.

I thought Adolescence was going to be about, you know, adolescence (or be a cop show) only it was about a lot more than that. Really remarkable show, acting and one-take camerawork. Difficult to watch despite all that.

I can recommend ‘The Agency’ on Paramount. Michael Fassbinder is excellent as usual as a CIA operative suddenly pulled out of a long-term deep-cover assignment in which he had built a pseudo-life.

As he returns to duty at London station, he struggles with his reintegration and what he was forced to so quickly leave behind.

10 episodes 45:00-1 hour.

We've been watching a goofy Irish comedy called Moone Boy. Set in rural Ireland in 1989, a kid and his imaginary friend (Chris O'Dowd) encounter hijinks.

WHERE'S me jum-pahhh

--this shoe has some laughs but much of it escapes me not having grown up in the west of Ireland in the 80s. I read that O'Dowd is actually from the city it is set in and much of the show is his own childhood
