Regular-season tabloids beat preseason when all else is equal. That was a crappy Subway Series between 2 going-nowhere clubs.

It was still a game-winner against the MFYs and that's cover-winner worthy regardless of anything else.

I generally vote against spring training-based covers because it's often a mismatch when an off-brand spring training uni top goes head-to-head against the real deal.

Here they have a jersey that's part of the regular-season rotation despite its springtime provenance, but they had to go and give Senga a silly-string insignia on his cap.
