Nice, I am the first voter of the year! I'm like those losers in New Hampshire.
As I do every year, I will vote almost exclusively based on a quality action photo. Headlines are almost all stupid.

I can barely remember going hard after Yamamoto. Decent numbers but a rotator cuff injury in year 1 of a 12 year contract for $325 million plus a $50m posting fee

Why do you think the News changed the cover from "Do it" to "Play it?"
Wondered the same thing, different regions?

Probably for the same reason that George Lucas keeps tinkering with
Star Wars, an endless quest for perfection.
Or not.

Some of those changes were pretty good. Others, not so much. Han shot first!

The first set of covers has no one in a Mets uniform.

I noticed that too. Bettors in Vegas are giving very high odds against the winning cover coming from this batch.

"Stevie Nixed" is an excellent headline.
Motocross is dumb.

Yeah but it has a good action picture so fman should vote for it.
Seriously, that's a good tabloid cover because it
is dumb.

They've used that line more than half a dozen times, going back at least 20 years to when the Mets fired Steve Phillips. Deduct five points for lack of originality.
