FORCE OF JULY
New York Post, July 3, 2023.
Winner of Round 1.16

It's historically interesting in that the future is captured in Francisco Testosteronio flying through the air while the present in the person of Canha is firmly fixed to the ground, in danger of getting plowed over, and only has a few weeks left in uniform.Marshmallowmilkshake wrote: ↑Tue Dec 05, 2023 6:41 am Force of July is great - and funny that the photographer in the background is checking her shot and missing the better one leaping before her!
I barely recognized him as Verlander. His shoulders are so raised and stiffened on his inhale that he looks like an older guy going through a health crisis. Newsday's inking also gives him a jaundiced complexion, which happens to a lot of their sweaty athletic shots, whether guys are black, white, or other. Newsday needs to turn back the SALLOW dial at their print shop.Frayed Knot wrote: ↑Tue Dec 05, 2023 7:54 am I dunno, for a non-action shot, the look on Verlander's face is perfect for the situation.
