How often do head-to-head match-ups feature the same player on both covers?
What else was happening on May 5 so that Newsday was the only tabloid to have the Mets' huge comeback on the back cover? Was it the Rangers' playoff game?

1. I don't have any specific numbers, but it's not uncommon. Round 2.05, posted the day after this poll was posted, features Lindor vs. Lindor.

2. I was able to find the Post cover from that day easily enough, but would have had to dig for the Daily News cover, but the Post was about the Kentucky Derby, so the News may have been as well.
